Service Description
Join us for a relaxed, creative day exploring the art of spinning tweed-style yarns. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to blend colour and texture to create yarns that capture the beautiful, rustic character of traditional tweed fabrics. We'll step away from smooth, uniform yarns and instead embrace loftier fibres, textured blends, and the subtle colour shifts that make tweed so distinctive. You’ll be guided through fibre preparation and spinning techniques that celebrate natural texture, helping you create unique, characterful yarns perfect for special projects. This small group workshop ensures plenty of individual guidance, whether you’re an improver or an experienced spinner looking to expand your skills. All fibres and refreshments are included – just bring your spinning wheel and your love of yarn!
Cancellation Policy
We value your booking but understand that sometimes things can change. In such circumstances we ask that you contact us at least 7 days prior to the workshop date in order that the date can be offered to other prospective attendees. We shall be happy to re-schedule your workshop for a more suitable date. In the event of you not being able to attend or re-schedule your workshop up to 7 days before the event a full refund will be issued. Any cancellations within the 7 days prior to the workshop date will not receive a refund.
