There can be nothing better than spinning at the end of a busy day just to relax to the beautiful soothing rhythm but there also comes a time when you may prefer to spin a specific weight of yarn for a pattern you've been admiring for ages. Imagine being able to deliberately hand spin the yarns you actually need for a project rather than leaving it to chance and keeping your fingers crossed! Being able to spin in a more technical way offers you so many more spinning choices which keeps your craft exciting and so rewarding. This workshop will show you how to take the measurements you need to be able to spin every weight of yarn you need every time you need to. And it really isn't that difficult when you know how. So if you are in search of the elusive lace weight or cosy aran weight or anything in between then this workshop is just for you. Refreshments are provided including home-made cakes, biscuits, fresh fruit and beverages but you will need to bring a packed lunch please. A refrigerator is available. I hope to welcome you soon.
