Service Description
The method of hand spinning a worsted yarn produces the most beautiful durable, sleek and drapey yarn form the most exquisite long wools being suitable for harder wearing garments or even as warp threads on a weaving loom. During this workshop you will explore a variety of wools most suited to this style of spinning. You will have the opportunity to use a range of wool combs including English Wool Combs to prepare your fibres into lustrous sliver before spinning to perfection. All refreshments are provided including home-made cakes, biscuits, fresh fruit and beverages but please bring your own packed lunch. NOTE This workshop is available ON DEMAND so do please get in touch to arrange your preferred workshop date. It may also appear in our EVENTS page so do check there too. Cancellation Policy
We value your booking but understand that sometimes things can change. In such circumstances we ask that you contact us at least 7 days prior to the workshop date in order that the date can be offered to other prospective attendees. We shall be happy to re-schedule your workshop for a more suitable date. In the event of you not being able to attend or re-schedule your workshop up to 7 days before the event a full refund will be issued. Any cancellations within the 7 days prior to the workshop date will not receive a refund.
