English Woollen Long Draw Workshop

Service Description

The style of English Long Draw spinning is a beautiful, relaxing and relatively quick method of spinning yarns. During this workshop you will learn how to choose the best fibre for this method and really learn the best technique for preparing fabulous rolags from which to spin. You will have lots of opportunity to practise the delightful technique to create at least one skein of yarn to take home with you to admire. All equipment and fibre is provided but it is recommended that you bring your own spinning wheel (in good working order please) if you have one. You may like to team this workshop with our Worsted Hand Spinning Workshop to truly experience the two definitive methods of spinning to really enhance your spinning possibilities. NOTE: All refreshments are provided including home-made cakes, biscuits, fresh fruit and beverages but please bring your own packed lunch. NOTE: This wonderful workshop is available ON DEMAND so do please get in touch to arrange your preferred workshop date. It may also appear in our EVENTS page so do check it out there too. Cancellation Policy

We value your booking but understand that sometimes things can change. In such circumstances we ask that you contact us at least 7 days prior to the workshop date in order that the date can be offered to other prospective attendees. We shall be happy to re-schedule your workshop for a more suitable date. In the event of you not being able to attend or re-schedule your workshop up to 7 days before the event a full refund will be issued. Any cancellations within the 7 days prior to the workshop date will not receive a refund.
