Service Description
Workshop: Introduction to Hand Spinning Date: Saturday, 1st March 2025 Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Cost: £65(includes refreshments and a drop spindle kit to take home) Whether you are just curious about hand spinning on a spindle or you are a seasoned spinner looking for a more portable or even more relaxed way of spinning, this half day workshop will be the perfect introduction to this fascinating craft. Join me for a fun and relaxed half-day taster workshop and learn the timeless craft of hand spinning! This beginner-friendly class will guide you through: Spinning wool step by step using a supported aka drop spindle. Plying the yarn you spin to create your very own mini skein to take home. What’s included: A complete drop spindle kit with a spindle and fibre to keep, so you can continue your spinning journey at home. Light refreshments to keep you energised throughout the morning. No prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm, and I’ll provide the rest! Spaces are limited to just six participants so do book early.
Cancellation Policy
We value your booking but understand that sometimes things can change. In such circumstances we ask that you contact us at least 7 days prior to the workshop date in order that the date can be offered to other prospective attendees. We shall be happy to re-schedule your workshop for a more suitable date. In the event of you not being able to attend or re-schedule your workshop up to 7 days before the event a full refund will be issued. Any cancellations within the 7 days prior to the workshop date will not receive a refund.
