My name is Nicky, thank you for welcoming me to the group. I live in London, I'm a nurse educator and I've been spinning for a year and a bit! I'm self-taught off of youtube and don't know anyone else who spins so I'm delighted to be here and would love any tips you might have. 😀

I started on a drop spindle to make interesting yarn for weaving, I came by a rickety old upright wheel that constantly fell apart as I was using it and I now have a new double treadle - which I love. I'm not a technically competant spinner and would like to improve but I am an enthusiastic fan of art yarn. Here are a couple of projects I've done:
