Drop Spindle Spinning Workshop

I’m really looking forward to taking my spinning to a new-to-me venue this September, when I’ll be travelling to Fakenham to teach a special Drop Spindle Spinning Workshop at Venetia’s Yarn Shop.

It’s always exciting to take spinning somewhere new, and Venetia’s lovely, spacious workspace in the heart of Fakenham is the perfect setting for a morning of wool, creativity and learning a new skill.

Have you ever fancied making your own yarn?

Perhaps you’ve admired hand-spun yarn and wondered how it’s made, or maybe you’ve bought a drop spindle and never quite managed to get started.

This relaxed three-hour workshop is a chance to pick up a spindle, get your hands on some wool and discover just how much fun spinning can be.

I’ll guide you through everything you need to know, step by step, with plenty of time to practise and individual help along the way.
