Delightful Dorset Buttons

If you haven't heard about these spectacular miniature works of art before I urge you to give this a go. Dorset buttons were used to adorn garments way before the industrialisation of button making so it's nothing new, in fact quite the opposite.

However I think they are  so relevant today and can add the most incredible final flourish to your craft creations. Imagine being able to make these beautiful buttons to match your hand spun yarn, knitted cardigans, woven jacket and so many more applications.

This workshop will be taught by the very talented Ann Dixon on

Saturday 8th July 2023 at 10am - 2pm.

The cost is £45 to include materials  and refreshments.

You may bring your own materials if you would like to make your buttons to match a current project too.
