Colours to Dye For

Spend a relaxing summer day learning the basics of natural plant dyeing. We shall collect the flowers and plants from our own dye garden and our surrounding fields and use them to transform skeins of yarn into some beautiful and perhaps unexpected colours. 

How to book: Please contact me to register your interest. I shall then forward a booking form to you which will give information relating to location, payment, health and food allergies.

What's provided: all plants  (although you may bring some of your own), skeins of yarn, mordants and modifiers, disposable gloves and aprons. Refreshments including home baked cakes, biscuits fresh fruit and a range of beverages.

What's not included: Lunch

What to bring: we shall be working mainly outdoors so please dress according to the weather. Bring sunscreen and sunhat. Appropriate footwear to wear whilst collecting the plants, gardening gloves to wear while plant gathering. A packed lunch.
